The Daily Prompt states: Tell us about your favorite pair of shoes, and where they’ve taken you.

The soles are worn,

on the right side only.

My gait leans to the right,

I guess.

Gray, with black covering the toes,

the occasional red outline.

A fake mesh covers the front.

The black laces,

slightly torn.

Trudged through parks,

both small and big.

One Central.

Miles of open country road,

it’s good for my ticker.

Block after block of concrete,

illuminated by neon lights.

My shoes tell a story,

the story of my history.

Life is but a walk,

I guess.
