A Daily Prompt Poem

The Daily Prompt states:

From a famous writer or celebrity, to a WordPress.com blogger or someone close to you — who would you like to be your biographer?

Photographers, artists, poets: show us WORDS.

Without words, what would there be?

No sentences, no structure.

How would we give meaning to ourselves,

to thoughts, to life?

Everything begins with words.

From expression,

to discussion,

to reflection.

I think of my life, written in a book.

What words will my biographer use?

Good words, happy words, sarcastic words,

grumpy words? You know what good, happy,

sarcastic, and grumpy are, because they are words.

Words paint the world into color.

Without words, the world would be black and white,

with the occasional grey.

Words give life, words create life.

Read my words, and I’ll speak yours.
